Privacy & analytics
A plain description of what this site measures and why: to understand which pages and projects are useful, and where visitors come from.
Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights
The site is hosted on Vercel, which counts visits without cookies. It records which pages are viewed, the referring site (e.g. Google, LinkedIn or Fab), campaign tags in links (UTM parameters), the visitor's country, and the device type, operating system and browser. Speed Insights measures how fast pages load on real devices.
It also records clicks on key links and buttons — for example "Get it on Fab", GitHub, LinkedIn, the résumé, and contact form submissions (the service chosen, never the message, name or email).
Microsoft Clarity
Clarity shows how pages are used: where people click and scroll (heatmaps), and anonymised replays of page interactions. Text typed into form fields is masked. Clarity also infers approximate location (country and city) from the connection and records device and browser details.
If you accept analytics cookies, Clarity can recognise your return visits; if you decline, each page view is recorded separately without cookies. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
What is not collected
No names, email addresses or exact locations are collected by analytics, and visitors are not identified or tracked across other websites. I only learn who you are if you choose to contact me.
Contact form
Messages sent through the contact form open your email app (or are delivered by email) so I can reply. They are used only to respond to you.
Links to other sites
Asset purchases happen on Fab, and profile links go to GitHub and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your choice
You can change your analytics cookie choice at any time.
